Welcome to Hele Barton Farm!
This 500 acre working farm is nestled in the stunning Cornish Countryside just a few miles from the coast. It's perfect for people who want to go out during the day and explore the beaches and villages of North Cornwall, but love to come home to peace and quiet in the evening.
There are loads of walks straight from the door- you can use one of the fields to exercise your dog or walk down through the woods to the Penhallym ruins. If you love fishing, or just being near the water, you can explore the 3 fishing lakes on site (stocked with Carp, Tench and Perch) or look out for wildlife such as kingfishers, deer, foxes and herons.
This is a family run farm, so there's always someone on hand to recommend places to visit. We run farm walks over the summer so you can learn more about the animals we have here, and for any animal-obsessed little ones- we have chickens, ponies, sheep, calves, cats and dogs who love to meet new people.
Although the farm is tucked away off the main roads, we are only 7 miles from Bude which has 3 supermarkets and all the usual shops. Plus there we have shops, pubs and a cafe within a 3 mile radius of the farm as well as on on-site honesty shop selling produce from the farm and essentials.

Mowhay Barn provides stylish Four Star Gold holiday accommodation for up to four guests in two spacious bedroom. It has fantastic views reaching across to the Atlantic ocean and offers the following accommodation and facilities:
Additional information: The tumble dryer is located in a shared laundry room. There is room for a travel cot if you would like to bring your own. Beds will be made up for your arrival. All bed linen and cottage towels are provided. No smoking inside cottages. Please note that the ponds and lake are deep and unfenced. You are welcome to walk round the farm or bring mountain bikes. Central heating throughout.
