Coastguard Cottage is well equipped and provides spacious character self catering holiday accommodation in the picturesque seaside town of Staithes and within easy distance (one and a half hours drive) from Leeds.
The self catering holiday cottage is situated on the High Street in the very heart of the old village, and only a minute's walk from the restaurant, pub and bistros and a two minute stroll to the Harbour.
Staithes was once one of the largest fishing ports in the North East of the country and today is very popular with tourists due to its picturesque appearance.
This small North Yorkshire fishing village appears to dramatically come out of the cliffs and offers a sheltered harbour, a small sandy beach and a choice of different places to eat. Pretty cottages, interesting little shops and old inns line the cobbled high street as it meanders its way down to the sea. Attracting not only holiday makers, Staithes is popular with artists and also walkers, offering spectacular scenery, breathtaking coastal walks along the stunning North Yorkshire Heritage Coast and beautiful inland walks in the North York Moors National Park.

Spacious comfortable lounge which also offers a sofa bed incase you have visitors.
A dining kitchen on the lower ground floor which has a wonderful feel with lots of original character along with a beautiful cast iron range, real Oak floor and stone walls - The perfect place to have a relaxing breakfast or chat about the days adventures over an evening meal.
Double bedroom.
Twin bedroom (with cot).
Bunk bed room with full sized beds.
Bathroom with shower over bath.
Enclosed yard with additional outside toilet.
Additional information: Bedlinen and towels are provided, all you need to bring is your beach towel. The cottage is fitted with a washer/dryer for your convenience.
