The Well House offers spacious self-catering holiday accommodation for 12 to 14 guests and is set in the village of Brierley in North Herefordshire. It is the perfect venue for a reunion of friends or a family get together and offers spacious accommodation. Its position is quiet and rural, yet it is accessible to Leominster (2 miles) and Hereford (12 miles).
The exquisitely restored half timbered barn, provides you with all the comforts of contemporary and environmentally friendly country living, yet it retains much original character.
The Local Area offers many places of interest to visit including castles and houses, gardens and farms which have changed little over time and lovely countryside to explore on foot The pace of life is decidedly slower - the perfect place to escape the pressures of every day life and catch up with friends and family.
The Well House provides a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire landscape. It is ideal for those who enjoy walking as there are a wealth of local footpaths behind the house just waiting to be explored. Hops are still grown locally and the Wye valley Brewery is well worth a visit for those who enjoy beer! The house is situated close to Offa's Dyke Path, three National Trust properties, the Mortimer Trail and numerous award-winning pubs (one with Michelin stars).
The market town of Leominster is just 2 miles away and the cathedral city of Hereford is 12 miles by car. For those who want to venture further afield, Wales beckons and the Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley are within easy reach.

This beautiful original half timbered barn has been sympathetically restored with oak flooring and exposed beams throughout. There is a light and airy feel with lovely high ceilings in most rooms.
Accommodation comprises:
Spacious entrance Hall with convenient toilet, leading to kitchen/dining area, snug & west wing on the right, living room & east wing on the left and stairs to master bedroom.
Dining area which is dominated by a lovely oak table which comfortably seats 12 people.
Utility room just off the kitchen with fridge freezer, wine cooler, under counter freezer, washer & dryer.
Large walk-in shower - ideal for supplementing the bathroom rush during peak hours!
'Snug' next to the kitchen which can be used as a library, TV room or a peaceful place to relax. There is also a small sofa bed in this room for accommodating extra guests.
The 'West' Wing which is a lovely long passageway of bedrooms. The first (No. 4) is a twin bedroom with two single beds; the next (No. 3) includes a beautiful double brass bed and some lovely Chinese camphor wood furniture. Next door is a bathroom with a luxurious stand alone bath and the last bedroom (No. 2) is beautifully spacious with another brass bed and understated camphor wood furniture. It leads into an appropriate en suite bath and walk-in shower room.
Living Room - This is an exceptional space with exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with a lovely wood burning stove. The large sofas and wing backed chairs make this room incredibly inviting and the perfect place to relax and socialise.
The 'East' Wing offers two twin bedrooms (Nos. 5 and 6), each containing two single iron beds. There are also two 'reindeer' bean bags for children of all ages to use if they'd like a sprawl in front of the telly!
Master Bedroom (No.1) occupies a magnificent position and has a beautiful 6ft Gothic style bed, a Chinese 'Ming' chair and a chest of drawers It also benefits from a stunning en suite bathroom with free standing bath which dominates the centre of the room whilst the shower at the far end provides a generous deluge of hot water.
Outside - There is parking for up to six cars at the front of the house. To the rear there is a lovely lawn and patio for morning coffees, afternoon tea, and alfresco pre-dinner drinks. There is also a barbeque!
