Crossways Cottage is an attractive, detached, stone cottage sitting in the heart of the beautiful riverside village of Symonds Yat, South Herefordshire, and is within walking distance to both the Gloucestershire and Welsh borders. Guests have plenty of options for great local pubs and restaurants, outdoor activities, beautiful woodland and riverside walks, and our iconic hand ferries from the doorstep. Situated in an elavated hillside position, there are far reaching valley views to wake up to from all 3 bedrooms and also from the large, private, sun-trap patio which is furnished and equipped with a BBQ and woodfired pizza oven. The stunning views also continue from one of the most popular features - the hot tub! Back inside the cottage, you will find a fully equipped kitchen diner complete with all the facilities you'd expect in a family household, and the cosy but light lounge is a perfect space to gather friends and family around the log burner for games nights. This large holiday home is on the River Wye, close to Symonds Yat and within walking distance of three popular pubs including The Saracens Head which you can reach via a hand-pulled ferry across the river. With nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, there is easily enough space for up to 22 guests to sleep in comfort, while the peaceful location at the end of a quiet lane means you won't be disturbed by passing traffic. Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are both within easy reach, with nearby activities including hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, whitewater rafting and sightseeing.
