This self catering holiday cottage sits in a wonderfully rural position nestling amongst glorious Herefordshire countryside. With fabulous views, Little Canwood House has been carefully restored to the highest of 5 Star standards and received Gold Award Status by the Tourist Board, perfectly blending traditional charm with modern day comforts.
With the M50 motorway just twenty minutes away, Little Canwood House is easily accessible. Beautifully presented inside and out, it offers all the right ingredients to escape the pressures of modern day life and immerse yourself in the pleasures of country living. Enjoy lovely walks, bike rides, a round of golf, horse riding and for those keen on water sports, kayaking, canoeing and rowing. There are also two good pubs within less than a thirty minute walk (or five minutes by car) for long leisurely lunches and meals out (one is exceptionally good offering gastro dining).
For those who want some extra holiday pampering or want to keep fit or play golf whilst away, there is a local Spa/Golf Resort with a full gymnasium, swimming pool, treatments, sauna, spa and 18-hole golf course. The owner can also put you in contact with a mobile masseuse, hot tub hire and catering company.
A local bus runs daily from the village of Woolhope to Hereford City centre and the village centre itself is approximately a twenty five to thirty minutes walk and five minutes by car.

Outside: At the front and back of the property are lawn areas (there are two steps to navigate when walking from the lawn onto the gravel/paved area). There is also a raised patio and lawn at the back of the property. The garden is fully enclosed and secure all round and there is a secure shed where the boiler is stored that can be used for drying outdoor gear. Bike storage also available and there is a games room which guests have the shared use of (this can be accessed from the garden and is shared with guests staying at Sharpnage House).
Additional information: Cot (please bring your own linen/bedding for the cot), high chair, fireguard and stair gate are available by arrangement. Short breaks may be available, please enquire with the owner. A well behaved dog considered - please discuss with the owner. Strictly no smoking. The owners are able to offer longer term accommodation in their holiday properties. Please contact them for details.

We do allow a well behaved dog, max 2 to stay at a small charge. Depending on age and breed, we sometimes ask for a Returnable Security deposit. Hot tub hire is also available through our local company.
We can provide a travel cot, stair gate, high chair and also shower chair and toilet seat riser all free of charge.
