This large luxury five-bedroom holiday home is one of a trio of stunning self-catering holiday homes at Greenbank Barns. Arrive at The Farmhouse to find far-reaching views of surrounding countryside.

Walk into the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which is spacious and stylish. Easily seat 10 guests around the featured dining table with comfy banquette seating. In the mornings, make use of the kitchen island and informal breakfast bar, which make a lovely spot for a morning coffee. State-of-the-art appliances include a double-range oven and a glass-fronted wine cooler simply waiting to be filled. No matter your plans, the kitchen is well-equipped for a luxury self-catering holiday.

Adjoining is the cosy living room. Relax on the leather sofas and watch a film on the widescreen TV, enjoying a glass of wine in front of the crackling log burning stove. The living room is the perfect place to enjoy the far-reaching views since the windows look out over the gorgeous gardens and across Holmedale Valley.

Make use of the spacious games room, where you will find a pool table, a bar with a drinks fridge, comfy seating, and underfloor heating! Step out through the large sliding doors to the outdoor soft seating, and stunning views across from the garden.

The adjoining utility room to the kitchen has a sink, washing machine, and drier, which is a useful addition for storing muddy boots, or for letting the dog dry off after a crisp country walk. There are also two downstairs cloakrooms, each with a WC and washbasin.

One stylish double bedroom with a super king-size bed is located on the ground floor, and can be split into twin beds on request. It also features its own log-burning stove, perfect to relax in front after a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Adjoining this large bedroom is an en-suite bathroom, with a free-standing slipper bath and a separate shower.

Four more luxury bedrooms can be found upstairs, each with its own exceptional design. The master bedroom is a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. Spot the Victorian fireplace, wooden beams, sofa, dressing table, and make sure you check out the widescreen TV and south-facing views. This room is both large and luxurious, and the super king-size bed can split into a twin, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath.

A further large en-suite bedroom features stylish Cole and Son birch tree wallpaper, a dressing table, television, and plenty of storage. There is a separate bath and shower, and the sumptuous super king-sized bed can be split into twins on request.

The fourth bedroom includes a king-sized bed, south-facing views, and a television. This bedroom shares the spacious house bathroom with the fifth bedroom, which features two fixed single beds. The house bathroom has a large bath to soak in, stylish mosaic tiles, a separate walk-in shower, and a heated towel rail to easily dry any clothing as well as towels.

The outside of this luxury holiday home with a hot tub is just as impressive. Relax in the private hot tub, looking out at the unrivaled views.

There are beautiful lawns in the south-facing garden. An infinity-style wall at the end drops down to a large paddock and ensures superb uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire Dales. On a summer’s evening, this is an idyllic spot for some al fresco dining with the whole gang. Use the charcoal BBQ. There is comfortable outdoor furniture and a fire pit, while a separate table and with benches sits in front of the farmhouse.

Upon arrival, you will find a locally sourced welcome hamper, free Wi-Fi, and ample parking for all. The modern kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, and double range oven. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could need for a most luxurious experience. A washing machine and tumble dryer are found in the utility room. There is a starter pack of cleaning products for the kitchen, laundry, and fires.

Look forward to high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and a selection of toiletries. The ground-floor en-suite bedroom makes the house accessible to guests with reduced mobility. Sleeping 10 guests plus 2 young children, two cots and highchairs are available free of charge. A stairgate is installed for family-friendly holidays, and z-beds for children under 10 can be requested at £25 each.

The Farmhouse is a dog-friendly holiday home for up to two dogs for a small charge per night, and please note that the garden is not enclosed.
