It is only a mile from Lamorna Cove and less than two miles from picturesque Mousehole, with easy access to Lands End, St Ives, Penzance and other favourite places around Cornwall. Guests have a wide choice of beaches as well as miles of footpaths, bridleways and cycling routes to help them enjoy this gorgeous landscape. Trevean is on the owner's 24-acre smallholding and is incredibly peaceful. It's ideal for couples or families.
Poldowrian Farmhouse offers refreshment and peace on the coast of the Lizard Peninsula, 100 yards from the cliffs, half a mile from Kennack Sands and in easy reach of many beautiful and interesting places. There is a spectacular woodland garden and a prehistoric hut circle. The 19th century house has been recently renovated: it is well equipped and comfortably furnished. All recent guests have rated it 10/10.
You can enjoy the best of the Cornish coast and countryside at Bramble Cottage. This gorgeous self-catering holiday home is just over a mile from St Ives Harbour and Beach and within a short drive of beaches like Porthgwidden and Porthmeor. The cottage is spacious enough to easily sleep up to six people in three bedrooms, but its cosy charm also makes it feel welcoming for couples. Completely self-contained, Gallants is one of three flats in a converted waterside chapel on Falmouth’s inner harbour – the third deepest natural harbour in the world. It has a magnificent, panoramic view across the harbour and, while conveniently close to restaurants and shops, is down a private lane, so quiet and sheltered from the bustle of the town. Falmouth is a lively and historic town, with good restaurants, cafés and pubs, independent food shops and supermarkets, art galleries, craft and gift shops and is the venue for many events all year round. In Falmouth and its immediate surroundings, there are three beaches, Henry VIII’s Pendennis castle to explore, world-renowned gardens at Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah, pretty villages and access to the Roseland Peninsula via King Harry car and foot ferry, just 20 minutes’ drive away.

Whilst the miles of golden sands and fantastic rock pools also makes Hayle beach a popular spot for families, it’s hard to beat the stunning stretch of sand at Porthcurno for a family day out. The white sand and turquoise sea, backed by rugged granite cliffs, is truly breath-taking. There is also a stream running down the side of the beach which is perfect for kids to paddle in and at low tide you can venture round to the cove at Pedn Vounder. To top off this magical spot, you can end the day watching an open-air performance at Minack Theatre. Tucked into the cliffs and overlooking the ocean, whatever the play, it is unlikely to be a performance you will forget.
