Perfectly positioned, the village sits adjacent to Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters and Birling Gap which is just a mile away where the nearest beach can be found.
Steeped in history, the flint church and cricket green are delightful focal points of the village which holds regular open-air markets. There is a great popular pub (The Tiger Inn) on the green which serves tasty food which can be enjoy overlooking the green on a sunny day. Or for something a little more exotic, visit the Thai restaurant on the green. The village also offers a small selection of shops for stocking up on provisions.
For a larger choice of shops and eating establishments, visit Eastbourne which is just a couple of miles drive. Officially affording the most sunshine in the UK, you should get plenty of opportunity to enjoy its clean beaches, promenade for roller skating or enjoy a stroll along the pier and afterwards, why not enjoy a show at the theatre or for the younge at heart, visit one of the clubs.
