About Seas the Day

Seas the Day is a waterfront holiday home with incredible views. There's nothing between you and the shingle shore of Rustington Beach but a stretch of grass and some colourful beach huts. The modern townhouse sleeps six people in three bedrooms and is decorated with a subtle nod to its seaside location, with huge windows that fill the house with light and frame panoramic views. Shops, cafes and friendly pubs and restaurants are under a mile away in Rustington village. Whatever the season, if you're planning a self-catering holiday by the Sussex coast with your family or friends, this welcoming beachside cottage is ideal.

Rustington is a peaceful coastal village between Littlehampton and Worthing. The beach is typical of those in this part of Sussex. As well as being popular with families, the angle of the beach makes it a favourite with kite surfers and windsurfers who love to play in the south-westerly wind on a breezy day. Rustington village has a choice of shops that include a butcher, greengrocer and baker, putting everything you'll need for a self-catering holiday within a ten-minute walk from the cottage. Those who prefer the ease of a supermarket will find Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Waitrose, and Lidl within a few miles.

Guests appreciate that they can happily park their car and forget about it for the duration of their stay. However, you may want to explore further. In that case, we recommend walking or cycling to Littlehampton for old-fashioned seaside fun with a crazy golf course, miniature railway, tennis courts, and paddleboarding and kitesurfing hire and tuition. Littlehampton has great fish-and-chip shops, a boating lake, an amusement park, and a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool. Other places for a day out include Brighton, with its famous beach and iconic Lanes, historic Arundel, Chichester, Goodwood, and Portsmouth. You're also close enough to the South Downs National Park for superb walking and cycling trails.

It's hard to find fault with Seas-the-Day. It's great for families with a layout that also suits friends, has fantastic views, and is so convenient for everything you could need for a relaxed self-catering stay.

Seas the Day is a modern townhouse with views of the beach and the English Channel. Accommodation is over three levels.

Ground Floor:

You'll notice the fantastic views as soon as you walk into the spacious family room, where glass sliding doors open onto the patio and lawn. There is relaxed seating, a TV, and a table where you can play a choice of board games thoughtfully provided by the owner.
Large well-equipped kitchen/diner featuring all mod-cons, including a dishwasher. The table seats six, and cupboards are stocked with utensils, pots, pans, crockery, glasses, etc.
Cloakroom with a WC and a handbasin.

First Floor:

More fantastic views greet you from the first-floor living room with a wall of glass doors that open onto a balcony. It's a little more formal than the family room downstairs, with a leather sofa, an armchair and two reclining chairs to put your feet up and watch the Smart TV. There's also a convenient "butler's pantry" where you can keep drinks and snacks.
Twin bedroom with two single beds, a wardrobe and drawers so you don't have to live out of your suitcase.
Family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and a handbasin.

Second Floor:

You'll want to reserve the master bedroom for yourself. As well as a queen-sized bed, it has panoramic sea views and built-in storage.
Spacious third bedroom with a double bed and proper storage.
Modern tiled shower room with a walk-in shower, WC and a handbasin.

Outside: The holiday home has outdoor seating on the ground floor patio and first-floor balcony. The garage can be used for off-road parking or storing bikes, SUPs, kayaks and kiteboards.

Additional Information: WiFi, bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included. Guests to bring beach towels. A highchair is available. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
