Kiss Cottage is a welcoming holiday cottage close to the South Downs National Park and the New Forest National Park and within easy reach of Portsmouth and the south coast. The one-bedroom cottage is in a quiet location at the end of a private drive yet within walking distance of Waltham Chase village shops and friendly pubs like the Black Dog. As its romantic name suggests, Kiss Cottage is a good choice for a couple's holiday but can also be made comfortable for small families with the addition of two extra beds that are suitable for small children.
Waltham Chase is in the beautiful Meon Valley in Hampshire, offering visitors plentiful opportunities for walking and cycling. The Meon Valley Trail is an excellent way to explore, with the traffic-free route stretching for ten miles along a disused railway line and passing through beautiful countryside and meadows, with lots of wildflowers and plants which attract butterflies and birds. Other footpaths and cycling routes in the area include the South Downs Way, Monarch's Way, Pilgrims' Trail, and the Wayfarer's Walk which leads from the valley to the coast. Closer to home, Bere Forest is a lovely walk in every season and particularly attractive with the colours of spring flowers and autumn foliage.
The New Forest National Park is a short drive from Kiss Cottage and an excellent destination day out. Ancient forests of towering trees separate picturesque villages with thatched cottages and free-roaming ponies. Stop for lunch at a country pub or somewhere such as Ringwood, Lyndhurst or the coastal town of Lymington. The Solent, Stokes Bay, Southsea and Christchurch are all excellent places for a day trip, as are Salisbury and Chichester.
Local attractions include the Watercress Railway, Marwell Zoo and Bishops Waltham Palace. Sailing and golf are both favourite activities, and there are six golf courses within a seven-mile radius of the cottage and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.
Kiss Cottage is a welcoming place for a holiday at any time of the year. There is so much to see and do in the area. Whether you are seeking a holiday full of activity and adventure or want to relax and unwind, you will find everything you need nearby.

Outside: The cottage has a quiet garden with seating, and there is off-street parking close to the door.
Additional Information: All utilities, sheets and towels are provided. Short breaks are possible depending on availability, and the owner offers a discount for solo guests. Smoking is not permitted. Cot and mattress are available.
An accidental damage and security deposit of £100 is required that reserves your dates (Fully Returnable within a week if all is well with the cottage) Full payment for nights required must be paid a minimum of 4 weeks before starting date.
