Spacious and presented to a high standard, Godre’r Graig (sleeping twelve guests) and Tan-y-Graig (sleeping eight) are both perfect for large groups of friends and families and sit in an enviable position in the beautiful unspoilt seaside town of Harlech in Snowdonia's spectacular National Park. With Harlech's majestic castle towering over the properties, the holiday homes are just a short stroll (literally two minutes) from the many amenities that this pretty town has to offer including a pub, golf course, play area, theatre, swimming pool and shops.
Perched on the edge of the Bay of Cardigan, Harlech is renowned for its medieval fortress and beautiful coastline with miles of golden sand and clean sea, enhanced by the backdrop of sand dunes.
There are plenty of things to see and do in this lovely area including: the pretty harbour town of Porthmadog with its great shops and opportunities to ride on a Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam train; slate mine where you can discover the areas industrial heritage; and Barmouth which sits on the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, teeming with wildlife. The area is also perfect for those who enjoy fishing, pony trekking, sailing and visiting the sandy "blue flag" beaches of the Cambrian coastline, along with those seeking a walking holiday in the Welsh mountains.
Snowdonia is a stunning contrast of leafy wooded valleys, majestic mountains, cascading streams, tranquil beautiful lakes, fantastic beaches and pretty harbours. Spend your days exploring the area, peppered with pretty villages such as Llanbedr with nearby Shell Island (a great place to collect shells with its wild flora and fauna) and Llandanwg with its ancient church by the sea. Alternatively stay locally and enjoy a game of golf at the famous Royal St. David's Golf Course, visit the impressive castle, take in a show at the theatre or simply relax on the sandy beach.
Walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the new routes to be found in the nearby area where you can explore the countryside with a wonderful backdrop of the Rhinog mountain range. There are several peaks to challenge you throughout Snowdonia, with varying degrees of difficulty providing something for all energy levels. Alternatively just sit back and let the Snowdon Mountain Railway show you all the fabulous sights of the peaks in a relaxed manner.
