Wavecrest is something special. This seaside holiday cottage in Llandudno is perfect for couples and friends, as it sleeps six adults in three bedrooms and has three bathrooms. It's a timeless classic - a lot like this characterful coastal resort that is as fashionable today as it was when the steam railway put it firmly on the map of Victorian sunseekers. Furnished to the high standards of an upmarket boutique hotel, the cottage is only a few steps from Llandudno's West Shore beach and a 10-minute stroll from North Shore, with excellent access to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. So whether you're escaping for a romantic weekend with your favourite person, or you need a stylish and comfortable holiday home for a relaxing catch up with friends, Wavecrest is ideal.
Llandudno has been a favourite holiday destination for well over a century. Enterprising Victorians saw the potential of this beautiful stretch of coast. They turned the small town, serving mainly miners and farmers, into a sizzling hot holiday destination where fashionable visitors promenaded along the seafront. Far from being stuck in the 1850s, local businesses have invested considerably to ensure that Llandudno offers 21st Century visitors the things they want: clean beaches, excellent places to eat, a variety of entertainment, and a wide choice of places to shop. Wavecrest is only across the road from the beach. So while frustrated day-trippers are busy driving up and down looking for a place to park, you'll be sauntering past them with your deckchair and your parasol, strolling to a waterfront cafe for a late breakfast or a delicious lunch, or sitting comfortably in the garden and feeling smug that you're not them!
Walking is always the best way to get a flavour of a place. Follow the self-guided Llandudno Town Trail to learn about the town's history and enjoy spectacular views on the Wales Coast Path. Cycling is another excellent way to enjoy the coastal views and scenery of the Conwy Valley and off-road routes like the mountain bike trails at Gwydyr Forest Park. Bike hire is available locally, as are golf, climbing, fishing, sailing and paddleboarding. Attractions include the Welsh Mountain Zoo, National Trust Bodnant Garden, Conwy Castle, Caernarfon Castle, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway at Llanberris. Anglesey is only a short drive over the Menai Strait, while Chester and Liverpool are just over an hour's drive and well within reach for a day out.
Wavecrest is a fantastic choice in all seasons. Bookings are possible all year round.
