About Beudy Tal Y Waen

Beudy Tal Y Waen is one of six holiday homes sitting on Penmaenucha Farm, a farm of some six hundred acres of glorious Welsh countryside. Affording plenty of privacy, Beudy Tal Y Waen enjoys a stand-alone position away from the other properties on the farm and with no direct neighbours, in the foothills of the majestic Cader Idris mountain in the tiny Welsh hamlet of Islaw'r Dref. With stunning mountainous views, this ancient barn sleeps up to five guests, has immense character beautifully married with modern day conveniences, and provides an 'away from it all' experience with all the right ingredients to relax unwind.

Centrally positioned in the Snowdonia National Park, Beudy Tal Y Waen is within easy reach (less than half an hour walk or a two mile drive) of the George III Hotel where you can enjoy a pint or meal out. The Mawddach RSPB Nature Reserve with the Mawddach Estuary walk/cycle track along the disused railway line (as shown on television) is equally as close, providing plenty of opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts as well as walkers and cyclists. For those seeking the cry of the gull, the coastal village of Fairbourne is a short car ride away, as is picturesque Barmouth with its golden sandy beach.

Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, Snowdonia's stunning national park provides endless opportunities for adventure with mountain biking, pony trekking, golf, hiking and fishing all being popular pursuits. There are also numerous fun-packed days out for those who can tear themselves away from the beauty that surrounds. Visit the country's most popular attraction, Portmerion or head to Zipworld or Electric Mountain for an underground adventure; Coed y Brenin Visitors Centre with its excellent mountain bike trails; The Centre For Alternative Technology; King Arthur's Labyrinth (another great rainy day attraction); Llechwedd Slate Quarry and Llanfair Slate Caverns and Children's Farm to name just a few.

Whether you are seeking adventure, tranquility, exploring castles and gardens or simply lazing on world-class beaches, this beautiful corner of Wales is just waiting to be explored!
