Penmaenucha Farm Cottages is home to The Dairy Cottage which sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, along with five other holiday cottages which nestle in an enviable position on a farm of some six hundred acres. Extending from marshland on the picturesque Mawddach Estuary to the base of one of the most spectacular mountains in Wales, Cader Idris, this welcoming retreat is ideal for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
Sitting in the Snowdonia National Park, the holiday cottages are a short stroll from the RSPB Mawddach Nature Reserve as well as the George III Hotel for a meal out (just two hundred yards to stroll home afterwards!). The sandy beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth are also just a short car ride.
Ideal for outdoor activities, the local area offers endless opportunities for adventure with mountain biking, horse riding, golf and fishing being just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed. It is also within easy reach of a whole host of attractions including Portmerion, Zip World, Y Wyddfa (Snowdon), Coed y Brenin Visitors Centre with its excellent mountain bike trails, Centre For Alternative Technology, King Arthur's Labyrinth, Llechwedd Slate Quarry and Llanfair Slate Caverns and Children's Farm to name just a few. There are also castles, gardens and beaches just waiting to be explored!

The old farm dairy has been converted to provide holiday accommodation with original slate floors. It is in a wonderful position with the large bay window in the lounge offering magnificent views of the estuary and mountain ranges.
The accommodation comprises:
Shared on site laundry room which includes coin operated washers and dryers (laundry detergent supplied free of charge). Clothes lines available throughout the courtyard. On site recycling facilities. No charging of EV at the cottage, there is a public EV charging point 300m from the property (Penmaenpool Mawddach Trail carpark).
