Ty Fynnon Cottage is stylish and elegant yet welcoming and comfortable with space for up to eight people to sleep in four bedrooms, multiple living areas and a large garden with a hot tub. The location on the private Graiglwyd Estate is wonderfully peaceful with the added benefit of being a mile from Penmaenmawr beach and only four miles from historic Conwy. In short, it is the perfect holiday cottage for families and friends and, if it isn't large enough for your group, then there are five other holiday cottages on the estate to accommodate you all.
The Graiglwyd Estate is in a fantastic location next to Snowdonia National Park, with breathtaking views over the Menai Straits towards Anglesey. There are incredible walking routes taking you through gardens, around lakes and over mountains so, whatever your ability, you will find yourself on the right path. Mountain biking is another exhilarating way to immerse yourself in the landscape, or saddle up and spend a few hours on horseback for a different view altogether. If fishing is your favourite way to relax, then you will love that the Graiglwyd Springs trout fishery is on site, with a two and a half acre lake and an excellent reputation for fly fishing.
Conwy is a short drive from the cottage, providing a wide choice of amenities including supermarkets, tea shops, pubs and restaurants to take care of your catering needs whether you are cooking in the cottage's fully-equipped kitchen or dining out. Eight hundred years after its construction, Conwy Castle can still impress with its size and position over the town. Together with Harlech, Beaumaris and Caernarfon Castles, all of which are nearby, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and certainly worth exploring.
The beaches of the North Wales coast are many and varied, yet all are beautiful. Llandudno is a favourite resort with traditional seaside entertainments, or spend the day building sandcastles at Deganwy, Colwyn Bay, or Conwy Morfa. Alternative days out include Bodnant Garden, Zip Word and Surf Snowdonia, and you can also take the Snowdon Mountain Railway to the top of Wales' highest mountain (or lace up your walking boots and take on the challenge!).
Graiglwyd Holiday Cottages are somewhere unique you can unwind and have fun with family and friends in beautiful surroundings. See the owner's website for more information about the other cottages that are available.
