About Chalet 2, The Woodlands

Chalet 2 is ideally located for a relaxing self-catering holiday in West Wales. It is in a quiet holiday park, The Woodlands, close to the border of the Pembrokeshire National Park and within easy reach of the coast. There are countryside walks from the park entrance and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath, as well as beautiful beaches like Newgale, are only a few miles away. The two-bedroom chalet comfortably sleeps up to four guests in two double bedrooms with a sofa-bed in the living room that opens up to sleep one more person, so it is perfect for couples, families or friends.

Pembrokeshire is a beautiful part of Britain with stunning beaches and lush countryside. Newgale Beach is a particular favourite with surfers for its consistently good break, but with three miles of sand, there is always a quiet spot for sun-lovers to stretch out and snooze, for a rousing game of beach cricket, or for a family challenge to build the most impressive sandcastle. Other nearby beaches include Nolton Haven, Broad Haven, and Solva, which has a lovely harbour and a great choice of places to shop, eat and drink.

Britain's smallest city, St Davids, is about nine miles away and easily accessible by car. It has a lively community of artists and a wealth of independent shops and galleries to browse as well as its magnificent cathedral and the nearby ruins of the Bishop's Palace.

West Wales is packed with fun days out from exploring Pembroke and its ancient castle to admiring the animals at Folly Farm. There are fantastic walks, exciting cycling trails and miles of footpaths traversing the coast and countryside. The scenery never disappoints, regardless of the season or the weather, and staying at Chalet 2 The Woodlands means you are perfectly located to easily access it all.

Accommodation Comprises:

Accommodation is on one level with open plan living and a traditional chalet-style layout.

  • Spacious living room with comfortable seating and a sofa that opens into a sofa-bed. The TV has Freeview. The owners have included a range of information about the local area to help guests plan their time away.
  • Dining table with four chairs.
  • Fitted kitchen with a good complement of utensils and equipment for self-catering, including a dishwasher and a microwave.
  • Master bedroom with a double bed and bedside tables.
  • Second bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and reading lights.
  • Bathroom with a bath, WC and a handbasin.

Outside: There is lots of grassy space outside and the chalet has a storage box with things for children to use on the beach, as well as body boards for surfing. There is off-street parking for several cars.

Additional Information: Short breaks are available all year round. Utilities and bed linen are included. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
