Shalom is a fantastic self-catering holiday home in Pembrokeshire, providing accommodation for up to six people in three bedrooms only 15-minutes from Tenby's harbour and three gorgeous beaches. The scenery may be lush Welsh countryside and golden Pembrokeshire beaches, but the house has a distinctly Mediterranean feel with a sunny pergola and outdoor swimming pool. Shalom is ideal for families, especially those with children, as there is lots of space indoors and outside.
The house is in the quiet village of Reynalton, close to beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and within five miles of favourite attractions like Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood and Heatherton theme parks, and Bluestone Leisure Park. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, Pembrokeshire is a hit with everyone. There are indoor and outdoor activities for kids, beautiful views and excellent restaurants for adults, and the fun that comes from being beside the seaside.
Tenby has been a favourite holiday destination for centuries. It has three beaches, so there is always a spot for your deckchair, a pretty harbour, cliff-top castle and some might say, most importantly, excellent ice-cream! Local attractions include the Tudor Merchant's House, and the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. The small island you can see from Castle Hill is St Catherine's Island. You can walk there at low tide to see the fort and WWII anti-aircraft gun. Another island to visit is Skomer, where puffins thrive in protected conditions. It's a little further offshore, and you'll need to book a seat on one of the authorised tour boats that have permission to go there.
There's plenty to do in Pembrokeshire without stepping foot on the sand. The Pembroke Coast Footpath spans the entire coastline and provides panoramic views as a reward for your efforts walking. Coasteering is an adventurous way to explore, or perhaps you'd prefer wandering around Haverfordwest on Market Day. Historians will enjoy seeing Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII, and St David's Cathedral. Next to the cathedral is the Bishop's Palace, a beautiful and atmospheric medieval ruin that some believe is haunted.
Day trips can include visiting other beautiful beaches such as Barafundle Bay, Teplyn and Swan Lake Beach. Five miles from Shalom, Narbeth is something of a gourmand's paradise, while the Blue Lagoon water park is the perfect place to take the kids on a rainy day.
Staying at Shalom means that you have easy access to everything that makes this part of Pembrokeshire a favourite holiday destination for so many people.
