Soleil Couchant is a spacious first-floor apartment in a lovely location close to Tenby and the beautiful beaches of the South Pembrokeshire Coast. The apartment is ideal for couples, but it can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms so also suits families. Soleil Couchant is on the top floor of a house that has been sub-divided into two separate accommodations, with the owners living on the ground floor and guests having a separate entrance and complete privacy on the top floor.
Tenby is a fantastic holiday destination for any age and in any season. The Pembrokeshire Coast is protected as part of a national park. It is staggeringly beautiful, with soft sandy beaches, clean water, thriving populations of sea birds, wildlife and flowers, ancient buildings and endless ways to have fun in and out of the water (or both, if you go coasteering). Tenby has three wonderful beaches, excellent amenities that include a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs, winding lanes, museums, and so much more.
Walking is a favourite way to enjoy the sights of the coast and countryside. The Pembrokeshire Coast Footpath encompasses the entire coastal boundary of the country, covering 186 miles from St Dogmaels to Amroth. The 4.5 miles between Tenby and Saundersfoot, another popular seaside resort, is relatively easy with a few hills and spectacular views. There is a regular bus service between the towns if you prefer not to walk back, and the entire footpath is well served by the Puffin Shuttle to make it easier for walkers to access longer stretches of the route.
Though cyclists can't use the footpath, there are other popular cycling routes on and off-road, including through the nearby Preseli Hills. Days out can include admiring the cathedral and browsing in the shops and galleries at St David's, saying "hi" to the residents at Folly Farm, or sliding down the flumes at the Blue Lagoon Water Park. Take a guided boat tour around Skomer Island to see one of Britain's most significant colonies of puffins, visit Pembroke Castle or Haverfordwest Jail, or save your appetite for lunch in Narbeth.
Visitors at Soleil Couchant are close to beautiful beaches and fantastic attractions that highlight why Tenby is a favourite holiday destination for all seasons.
