Chester Zoo and the Grosvenor Museum are worth a visit as well as a lovely stroll around the Chester Roman Gardens. We have quite a few places to visit on rainy days such as Dagfields Craft and Antique Centre and the Secret Bunker plus Bridgemere Garden World with its splendid gardens.  The Dorothy Clive and Trentham gardens are this side of Staffordshire and well worth a visit or have a look at the Wedgewood museum and then go across to the JCB factory for a very interesting tour.
