Bakewell Holiday Cottages offer two adjoining newly refurbished stone holiday houses that are ideally positioned just a ten minute walk from the centre of Bakewell. This lively and thriving market town sits within the Peak District National Park at its very heart, and provides a perfect base for a whole host of activities including walking, cycling, visiting country houses (such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House which are both close by), or simply relaxing in a wonderful peaceful setting. Its location between Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham makes Bakewell readily accessible.
Each house sleeps five guests (and an additional two people on sofa beds by arrangement), and both are suitable for families or groups of adults.
The holiday homes are centrally-heated, well-equipped and furnished to a high standard and both houses have off-road parking for two cars, well laid-out gardens with patio areas and secure bike storage.
Bakewell is steeped in history and has lots of character. It offers a good range of pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, gardens and parks, along with an outdoor market (one of the oldest in the area selling lots of things!) every Monday. Bakewell hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including the Bakewell Show, the Bakewell Carnival, the Bakewell Acoustic Music Festival and the Bakewell Arts Festival.
With excellent amenities within walking distance and plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy, this is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the Peak District National Park.

Outside: There is vehicular access with driveway and off-road parking for two cars to the front and side of the property. At the rear there is a large garden with planted borders, large lawn, patio and a shed suitable for storage of bikes and outdoor equipment.
Additional information: Prices include heating, hot water, bed linen, towels and Wi Fi. The changeover day is normally Saturday but please speak to the owner if you would like an alternative day. Short breaks are often available throughout the year (2-3-night breaks are 80% of weekly rate, 4-night breaks are 85% of weekly rate, 5-night breaks are 90% of weekly rate and 6-night breaks are 95% of weekly rate). A cot, high chair and stairgates are available upon request. Please note that the cottage is no-smoking and regrettably cannot accept pets. Please also note that the holiday homes are not suitable for people with disabilities.
