This cosy barn conversion has been carefully designed to provide a high degree of comfort. With one double bedroom it is perfect for couples who want to explore the beautiful West Dorset coastline, as well as the counties many attractions.
Lace up your walking boots and spend your holiday days exploring the South West Coastal Path. Accessible within just a mile of Greenwood Cottage, there are miles of beautiful coastal walks with amazing sea views along the way. Take to the roads and explore the pretty seaside villages and towns that pepper this famous coastline. Lyme Regis is a popular choice with its gorgeous sandy beach, or head to the pretty coastal village of Charmouth. Seaton with its fishing harbour is also within easy reach, as is the pretty seaside village of Branscombe (from which you can walk over the headland to nearby Beer), Bridport, Abbotsbury with its swannery and beautiful tropical gardens and West Bay. Spend your days relaxing on the areas fabulous beaches; fossil hunting; discovering Thomas Hardy country, browsing the shops in Dorchester, Dorset's county town; or enjoying some great food at the River Cottage HQ. The choices are endless!
The cottage is located in the village of Morcombelake which has a shop for forgotten provisions, an art gallery and farm shop with cafe. A wider selection of shops can be found in Bridport which has a twice weekly market on a Wednesday and Saturday. Not only are Bridport's fantastic markets a great place for stocking up on local produce but they are also where the TV drama Broadchurch is filmed.
With fantastic countryside and coastal walks on the doorstep, gorgeous beaches close by, a choice of pubs and restaurants to enjoy a meal out, and an abundance of attractions for day trips out, Greenwood Cottage is a superb choice for a holiday whether you want to simply relax or get out and about exploring.

Designed and furnished with holiday letting in mind, this new luxurious one bed self catering cottage is spacious and beautifully presented throughout.

Additional information: Central heating throughout keeps the cottage warm all year round and is included in the price along with electricity, bed linen and towels. A welcome tray is provided with everything for a cup of tea, coffee and biscuits (locally made) when you arrive. High speed WiFi internet access. Unfortunately, no children are allowed and there is a no smoking policy. A coastal bus runs close to the cottage for those who would like to explore the coast without spending too much time in the car. Short breaks available - please enquire with the owner.
Outside: Guests have a lovely large garden with lawn and patio area with picnic bench for relaxing when the sun shines. Private off-road parking is available for one car.
