Relax in the beauty of the Welsh countryside in this big group holiday let in the Wye Valley. The Manor on the Monnow sits in two private acres of ground and fronts on to the River Wye at Monmouth, sleeping up to 24 people in 11 bedrooms. The centre of the historic town with its pubs, cafes and shops is a gentle 10-minute stroll, while the Wye Valley AONB, Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons National Park are also close. The property manages to be both impressive and homely at the same time, and is ideal for groups of extended families and friends.

High Cloud Farm and Barn provide not only fantastic self-catering accommodation for big groups, but also the perfect spot to host your family Christmas, milestone birthday party or hen weekend. The two properties combine to sleep up to 24 people in ten very comfortable bedrooms, sitting within 30 private acres with beautiful views and walks from the front door. It is peaceful and private, with easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Wye Valley and favourite market towns such as Abergavenny and Monmouth.

The Anchor was formerly a favourite village pub with a history of welcoming guests dating back to the 15th Century. Still hospitable, it is now a large property for self-catering in the Forest of Dean, sleeping up to 22 people in eight bedrooms, three living areas, a games room and a big garden with a hot tub. There are beautiful walks and cycling trails from the door, with the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons and Cotswolds all on the doorstep for guests to enjoy. The Anchor is perfect for big family gatherings and celebrations with friends.

It is rare to find a large self-catering property in town, especially one of a standard as high as Forest House. Tucked away close to the centre of Coleford, this elegant house sleeps up to 25 people in 11 bedrooms and is within walking distance of shops, cafes and a pub. The footpaths and cycling trails of the Forest of Dean can be reached within a five minute stroll from the house, and with attractions like Symonds Yat, Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood and the Palace Cinema close by, Forest House is ideal for extended families and friends.

A large group of people need a spacious property, and Hollytree House is ideal. This large holiday home is on the River Wye, close to Symonds Yat and within walking distance of three popular pubs including The Saracens Head which you can reach via a hand-pulled ferry across the river. With nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, there is easily enough space for up to 22 guests to sleep in comfort, while the peaceful location at the end of a quiet lane means you won't be disturbed by passing traffic. Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are both within easy reach, with nearby activities including hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, whitewater rafting and sightseeing.

With a courtyard garden perfect for alfresco dining and spa facilities galore, Mill End is the perfect place to stay, play, study, relax or quietly party! For bigger groups, special celebrations or single bed occupancy, we link in with the cottage next door and a coach house up the lane (19 bedrooms) and we offer in-house dance classes, cocktails, catering and entertainment from our little sister business Bordello Banquets, based in Bristol.  Our minimum booking is for up to 25 guests over 10 bedrooms, and the minimum price is £3,000.00 up to £3,500.00 depending on the time of year for 2 nights. Bank Holidays are 3 night stays only and Christmas and New Year are £6,000.00 or 4 night minimum.  For smaller groups who want catering as part of their weekend away we can negotiate down a bit on the house hire. The Lodge Ground Floor Flat is a welcoming ground-floor holiday cottage in St Briavels, sleeping 4 + 2 and suited to families, couples or a small group. Part of a Grade II-listed building, the apartment has two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area for additional guests. Outside, there’s a private enclosed garden with a hot tub, plus on-site parking. The village pub, castle and local walks are all within easy reach, while the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley sit close by. This self-catering accommodation offers a practical, comfortable base for exploring woodland trails, historic sites and riverside routes in this quieter corner of Gloucestershire.

The Wye Valley is a serene and beautiful setting. The River Wye stretches for 134 miles from mid-Wales to the Severn Estuary, and the area has some of the oldest forests in the UK. The Wain House at Trippenkennett Farm comfortable sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with a flexible configuration that makes it appropriate for couples, families or friends. The farm has two coarse fishing lakes, with more angling opportunities, as well as kayaking and canoeing, available on the river.
