Accommodation Comprises:

Mill End is a collection of three properties that have been knocked through to create one spacious holiday home with a flexible layout that can be tweaked to suit your group size & budget needs & offers accommodation between 20 & 34 guests over 10 to 14 bedrooms. Plus the cottage next door.  

Our minimum booking is for up to 25 guests over 10 bedrooms, and the minimum price is £3,000.00 up to £3,500.00 depending on the time of year for 2 nights. Bank Holidays are 3 night stays only and Christmas and New Year are £6,000.00 or 4 night minimum.  For smaller groups who want catering as part of their weekend away we can negotiate down a bit on the house hire. 

Social:

• All communal areas have been furnished & decorated by ex-fashion designer Liz Lewitt, to be welcoming & to inspire.
• The Upper Malt House kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling & exposed oak beams. This will be the place of some of your happiest holiday memories with great food & fantastic company. Professional catering quality appliances make light work of cooking for a full house, even being complimented by professional chefs. It's a gorgeous blend of efficiency & homeliness where people will love to gravitate. Trestle tables can seat up to 40 people & be moved out of the way for yoga & dance classes.
• A second kitchen is perfect for quick meals like breakfasts, kids high tea or afternoon tea. It also has a cocktail bar & 3 door drinks chiller & equipment for baking.
• Leather sofas, timber floors, & flashes of animal print give the main living room a classically stylish vibe. The lounge area in Lower Malt House also features a 65-inch Bluetooth HDMI ready Smart TV & leads to let you plug your laptop in to stream videos or presentations.
• A green oak timber framed extension acts as a conservatory or a garden room with leather sofas, books, occasional tables, & beautiful garden views. It has a log burner to ensure it's usable in all seasons, & a pool table for after dinner fun.
• Indulge in a spa treatment in the therapy room furnished with an adjustable massage couch, foot spa, facial steamer, & collection of books relating to wellness. Guests also have use of steam & infra red sauna cabins which are included.

Sleeping:

• Doves & Swans has bunks with a double on the bottom & a single on the top, pried for 2 guests  The family bathroom next door also has child-friendly features with a shower over the bath, WC & a handbasin.
• Arts & Crafts has a double bed & an ensuite shower room.
• Sunshine Yellow is up a steep flight of stairs in the Upper Malt House & features a single & double bunk to sleep a maximum of two guests, priced for 2 guests. There is hanging space & a chest of drawers for storage.
• Rinky Dink Pink is another charming bedroom in the Upper Malt House features a single & double bunk to sleep a maximum of two guests, priced for 2 guests. There is hanging space & a chest of drawers for storage.
• You'll want to keep the four-poster room for yourself. It has an elegant king-sized bed with a free standing double-end bath & shower attachment & ensuite WC.
• Inspired by the Far East, the Chinese Room is ideal for families. It has a a double bed, single bed & a cot with an ensuite bathroom.
• Live your finest French chateau fantasies in the White Room decorated with Toile de Joy soft furnishings & furnished with bunk beds & a single bed to sleep up to three guests.
• The Japanese Room features a double & 2 single sleigh beds. It has space for a Z bed (£50) if you want to use this as a 'sleeps 5' kids dorm or accommodate a large family.
• Fresh white & delicate pink are a lovely touch in the Butterfly Room which has a double bed & a day bed and a hand wash basin.
• Cosily compact, the Nell Nile Room has single bunk beds adjacent to the Butterfly Room, and is a walk past room suitable to make the butterfly an extended family room for 5 or for hens.

Jovial Colliers 

• Big groups can access an additional self-contained apartment with a large breakout play/TV sitting room, 2 bedrooms & a family bathroom. £500.00 extra
• Rose Room with a double bed and storage.
  Garden Bunk Room sleeping two guests in single bunk beds.
  Black and White family bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, WC and a handbasin.

Lower Stores

• This part of the house needs to be hired last as otherwise access to the Blue room is through the woodland room.  Again, the woodland room can accommodate a Z bed (£50) to make it a kid's dorm room or sleep a family of 5. £550.00 including the wet room.
• Woodland Room with two double beds to sleep four guests.
• Blue Room featuring two single beds.

Outside: Guests have a landscaped garden with a sheltered barbecue area, children's play equipment & off-street parking.  We charge for the BBQ (£50) for gas and to strip it down and clean it after guests)

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests will need to bring cot bedding if it is required. Smoking is permitted outside & dogs are allowed at £25.00 per dog to deep clean & flea bomb the house between four legged guests.

Please note: Mill End is in a quiet village location and so is not suitable for DJ’s/decks. We operate a hot tub curfew of 10.00pm and a garden curfew of 12.00 midnight. No music is to be played outside as we need to respect the privacy of our neighbours.
