Ideal for couples and dogs, Woodpecker is beamed and quaint. From the sheltered and enclosed garden enter the front door to find a quarry tiled lounge/kitchen/diner with adjoining bathroom (bath and over bath shower.) Upstairs is a pretty bedroom with a king sized bed. At Lea Hill there is a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier available at a modest cost. A dog exercise field adjoins the cottage. Well kept shared grounds and gardens with a thatched Summerhouse are yours to enjoy. Book two or three of our cottages for a discount to holiday with your extended family!
Lea Hill cottages are remote, yet within easy reach of the Devon market town of Axminster. Venture further afield and we are an ideal centre for discovering a delightful, unexplored corner of Devon bordering both Somerset and Dorset. To the North the quiet roads and charming villages of the Blackdown Hills, the Somerset levels and Vale of Taunton. Or go South to enjoy the World Heritage Jurassic Coast—from Seaton's tramway along the wildlife-rich Axe estuary to Charmouth's visitor centre and fossil hunting. Sand and shingle, rocks or promenades—there is variety enough at our World Heritage Site coastline to interest all ages.
We know that many people are on a tight budget which is why we keep prices extremely low. This is possible because we ask guests to bring their own towels and bedlinen and extras like toiletries. You also pay your own fuel. The central heating is by electric infra red panels. Our basic Winter prices allow for this extra expense. You will find very competitive rates and excellent value for money.

Typical weekly fuel costs range from about £6 without heating up to about £90 per week in Winter- depending on the weather and how much warmth you require! Expect to pay around £50-60 for a typical Winter week. Even with the fuel costs the total Winter prices are still very competitive at well below £400 a week.
