North Hill Holiday Cottages offers the chance to enjoy peace and tranquility amongst Devon's beautiful undulating countryside. With excellent on-site facilities that include an indoor pool, tennis, hot tub and games room, guests have eleven holiday cottages to choose and plenty of outdoor space and fresh air to enjoy. A popular choice for couples, friends, dog owners and families, the cottages are beautifully presented with the owners personally managing them to ensure guests have a warm welcome and enjoyable stay.
Whilst the cottages are close to the amenities of Barnstaple, they sit in a peaceful haven and offer all the right ingredients for a relaxing holiday. Enjoy swimming in the indoor pool which is heated to approximately 27 degrees throughout the year, play tennis on the all-weather court, relax in the sauna and hot tub, or lace up your walking boots and explore the countryside on the doorstep.
For those who can tear themselves away from this oasis of tranquility, there are plenty of attractions within driving distance for day trips out. The Exmoor National Park is within easy reach by car and offers a beautiful vast playground for a host of water and land-based activities. Head to the golden beaches on the north coast for a day by the sea at Westward Ho!, Croyde, Appledore or Woolacombe. Explore the South West Coastal Path or the Tarka Trail if you prefer cycling. The vibrant market town of Barnstaple is just five miles from the cottages and offers a good choice of shops, places for a meal out and bike hire.
Whether you plan to spend your days exploring the countryside, visiting country houses and gardens, enjoying a round of golf, or taking the little ones to award winning attractions such as the Big Sheep and Milky Way, the choices are endless with plenty to occupy the hottest and wettest of days.

All cottages are well equipped and coordinated, and have central heating and log burners for winter breaks. Set amongst eight acres of grounds, there is plenty of outside space for when the sun shines with lawns where children can let off steam, a play area and fields, all weather tennis court for those who like to keep active and an indoor games room for inclement weather.
The indoor swimming pool (thirty three foot long with a changing room, WC and shower) is heated to a comfortable temperature (27 degrees) and there is also a smaller pool beside it for toddlers (just over two foot deep and perfect for little ones who can't swim). For chilling, there is a Jacuzzi where you can let your stresses bubble away, and also a sauna.
All kitchens have full size cookers, fridges (including freezers) and microwaves and there is a communal laundry room available on site. Sitting rooms have comfy seating, televisions/DVD players and there is WiFi internet access to keep you in touch with the outside world.
Willow Cottage is the largest of all, sleeping six guests. Located very close to the pool house, accommodation is split over two floors and comprises:

Additional information: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (additional charge applies). A high chair and travel cot are available (bedding is not provided for the cot so please bring your own). Bedlinen and bath towels (pls bring towels for use in the pool/hot tub) are included in the price , along with a welcome basket of logs to get your first fire going (extra logs available on-site at an additional charge).
