About The Trap House

This traditional Devon barn is located on a non working farm in the South Hams, less than a mile from Beesands beach, pub and the South West Coastpath. Nestled in a quiet village on a stretch of coastline between the harbour towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth, the unspoilt beaches and market towns of South Devon are all an easy drive away. We are an ideal getaway for couples and families who want to explore South Devon.

This is one of 6 cottages on site at Beeson farm. Our cottages are located around a large central courtyard, yet each with their own private outdoor space. Guests are welcome to enjoy the cider orchards that surround the farm, where there is also an onsite play area for our younger guests. Dogs are very welcome!

We look forward to welcoming you to South Devon and are always happy to sharing our local knowledge and recommendations with you.

All holiday cottages are comfortably and tastefully decorated and equipped to a very high standard.

The Trap House is an intriguing delightful holiday cottage which is full of charm and character.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Shower room with hand basin and WC.
  • Kitchen well equipped for self-catering adjacent to...
  • Dining room.
  • Large sitting room with comfy seating and wood burning stove for cosy nights.

Upstairs

  • Small double bedroom which has an en-suite with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
  • Small twin room which also has an en-suite with a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

Outside: There is a private patio for relaxing in the warmer months and fenced garden with views over the fields and wildlife pond.

Additional information: Bed linen is provided and towels can be hired. There is a play area in the orchard for children under ten and fenced wildlife ponds. Off season short breaks available. Couples who are happy to use just one en-suite bedroom can gain a discount (off season only).
