The Linhay is a charming countryside cottage at Cheristow Farm which sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms. It has a comfortable open plan living space with rustic features like the beams, stone hearth, and exposed stone walls, along with modern conveniences. There’s a dining table for four, a sofa, and two comfy armchairs along with a TV with Freeview, so it’s a great spot to relax after a day out: perhaps watching a film or cosying up in front of the wood-burner. The compact, well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven with hob, a fridge and microwave. Guests staying at The Linhay are also welcome to use the shared laundry facilities.
On the same floor are two well-presented bedrooms and a family bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, a free-standing wardrobe and chest of drawers. The other bedroom has two full size single beds that can be linked to make up a king-sized bed. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and wash basin.
Just outside there’s outdoor furniture in a sheltered area of the former farmyard so Linhay guests can eat, drink and sit out in the sun.
The Linhay at Cheristow Farm is a great base for couples, friends and small families keen to get away to a quiet countryside setting, just 1.5 miles from the coast.
The Linhay is a dog-friendly cottage, where two dogs are welcome, by arrangement.
Guests staying at Cheristow Farm Cottages are welcome to book the shared spa room - with its hot tub and sauna - for private use. Also available for guests is the large picnic and children’s play area with great views of the countryside and the sea beyond. Children are also welcome to help the owners feed the chickens and ducks (pigs too, sometimes) in the mornings.

Short breaks available. Less than 2 miles from the coast, 2 miles drive or a cross-country walk from the nearest pub. Oil central heating, wood-burning stove, fuel starter pack provided. BBQ provided - with a starter pack of fuel. WiFi, bed linen and towels provided (beach towels not supplied), hair dryer. No smoking. Off-road parking. Shared spa room with hot tub and sauna, bookable by the hour (at no extra cost). Max 2 dogs are welcome, by arrangement, there is a £25 fee per dog. Supermarkets
