With lovely views over Dittiscombe Estate and a nature walk into 20 acres of woodland and meadows from the cottage door, Honeysuckle is an ideal sanctuary for guests who enjoy relaxing in quiet surroundings.
It is a single-story cottage with a stable-style front door. The sitting room has a sofa, armchair, coffee tables, log-burner, Wifi and TV with streaming. There are two small steps to the bedroom which has a king-size bed, chair, bedside tables, chest and wardrobe.
The fully fitted kitchen has an electric oven, microwave and ceramic hob, dining table and chairs. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with grab rails, basin and toilet.
There is a lovely south-facing garden, accessed from the side of the cottage, with a gravel area and garden furniture, fully enclosed with post and rail fencing.
Guests can enjoy fabulous views over the valley, woodland and wildflower banks.
Honeysuckle has full central heating with a gas-fired combination boiler and programmer. Wifi available throughout the cottage.
Bath and hand towels are provided in Honeysuckle. There is a £25 per dog per week charge.
Dittiscombe Estate lies within a 10 minute drive or about an hour’s walk off-road to historic Slapton village. Here there are find two excellent dog-friendly pubs and popular community shop, the unspoilt and dog-friendly beaches of Start Bay where you can join up with the South West Coast Path for spectacular coastal walks. The pretty estuary towns of Salcombe, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are all within a 30 minute drive.

Short breaks available from November to March. Prices include heating, electricity, linen and a complimentary basket of logs. Beds are made up for guests' arrival. A local company can be recommended for guided canoe tours - what better way to discover the beauty of the local estuaries and rivers. Bike storage available.
Up to two dogs are welcome and charged at £25 per dog per week (or £10 per dog for short breaks).

Free to Dittiscombe guests: a Summer Sunday Guided Nature Walk around the Estate with local ecologist Ken Neal, 10am-12noon. Dogs are welcome on leads. We'll identify any wildlife we discover and chat about what you can do to help your local wildlife at home. Requires pre-booking with Ruth. Also Forest Bathing sessions available on selected dates.
