Cobble Cottage sleeps four guests and is a semi-detached holiday cottage located in the pretty Cumbrian village of Dent, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
One of the Yorkshire Dales most picturesque areas, Dentdale is over ten miles long and affords stunning scenery. Dent's cobbled streets are home to tea-rooms as well as pubs offering a choice of places to eat out and re-fuel after a long day exploring. There are also a number of shops for provisions in the village which is on the bus route to the market towns of Sedbergh and Kendal.
Dent Railway station is approximately four miles from Dent Village and sits on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line, one of the most spectacular and famous railway journeys in the world that stops at Dent station. From here you can also take a train to Carlisle or Leeds for great days out whilst enjoying the wonderful views along the way.
Centrally located, Dent is ideal for exploring the many attractions of the Yorkshire Dales and also the Lake District and the North York Moors which are both only a short drive away. The surrounding area offers the most incredible walking opportunities with something to suit all energy levels from a short stroll to a long distance hike. There are some easy, short and very enjoyable walks along the river and the Dales Way passes through Dent for the more energetic. The adventurous may want to explore the famous Three Peaks!
