A 10 minute drive will take you to the coast and the family-friendly sandy beach of Sea Palling with nearby restaurants, shops, doughnut stalls and ice cream - a real mini Great Yarmouth. A little further down the coast you can visit the seals at Horsey, they tend to be around all year, however winter is the pupping season where you can see hundreds of seals on the beaches. Great Yarmouth with its famous Golden Mile of slot machines, ice cream, doughnuts, bars and restaurants is still only a 25 minute drive also.
