Centrally located, the cottage is just a short and interesting stroll around the edge of the marina to the centre of Wroxham's bustling village where you will find plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. Known as the 'Capital of the Broads', Wroxham is a popular tourist destination at any time of the year. There are plenty of sightseeing excursions, or alternatively hire a canoe or day boat and explore the waterways under your own steam where you will see an abundance of wild and birdlife. Bike hire is also available from the village or for those looking for something a little more leisurely, take a trip on the Bure Valley Steam Railway and sit back and take in the wonderful sights.
The pretty Broadland village of Horning is only one and a half miles away where you will find two good riverside pubs/restaurants and close by is Bewilderwood providing a great day out for the little ones, with also the huge miniature model railway, enjoyed by children and railway enthusiasts. A little further afield you have the City of Norwich (just nine miles) offering superb shopping, eating establishments and attractions and the Norfolk coastline with the popular seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Lowestoft and Hunstanton - perfect for some traditional seaside fun! For something a little more sedate and picturesque, visit the coastal village of Blakeney with its pretty harbour and flint cottages; the former fishing village of Sheringham with its sandy beaches; Cley with its excellent nature reserve; the expansive sands at Holkham or the bustling harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea.

Free fishing (when in season) available from all around the marina gardens. Double glazed throughout. Heating and electricity included in the price. Bed linen and towels (one hand and one bath towel per person plus bath mat) included in the price. Beds are made up ready for arrival. Public laundrette just five minutes stroll away. All rooms have thermostatically controlled wall mounted convector heaters. Parking for up to three cars by arrangement with the owner. Free WiFi with strong signal. This cottage can be booked with the adjoining cottage to make a double unit accommodating up to eight guests (speak with the owner for discounts).
