Riverbank Cottage is in a hugely desirable location beside the River Bure in Horning. It's perfect for friends or families as it comfortably sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has a fantastic garden with riverside decking. The cottage even comes with a private 19-foot mooring and you can fish from the garden. With shops, cafes and friendly pubs like the New Inn and the Swan Inn a short walk from the door, you could happily forget about the car for the duration of your stay.
A holiday in the Norfolk Broads National Park is the ideal antidote to a busy and stressful life. Time slows down when you're beside the water and irritations which would normally drive you bananas barely even register. Horning is a wonderful base from which to explore this stunning region, with or without a boat. The peaceful village is mainly residential with a pretty village green, family-run butcher, antique store, shops, takeaways and cafes. It's lively without feeling busy. There is a wider choice of shops and amenities in Wroxham, only three miles away and home to famous Roys of Wroxham department store where if they don't sell it, you don't want it anyway. If that's not enough, the City of Norwich is 12 miles and easily accessible by car or bus, providing a great day out for anyone with a passion for history, culture, fine dining and shopping.
Local attractions include BeWILDerwood adventure park, Pleasurewood Hills, Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park. You're only half an hour from the North Norfolk Coast with beaches like Cromer with its long pier and traditional seaside entertainments, and Blakeney where seal watching is a favourite pastime. Cycle and boat hire are both available locally to give you every opportunity to enjoy this beautiful and unique landscape to the full. Alternatively, just relax by the water watching the world float by and enjoy the prime position of Riverbank Cottage.

Riverbank Cottage is a charming riverside cottage in the picturesque village of Horning. Accommodation is over two levels.

Outside: The rear garden is a mix of lawn, a patio and wood decking with garden furniture, table, 6 chairs and parasol. Fishing from the deck is possible during the correct season. You will need to obtain the relevant Fishing Licence. There is a driveway at the front with off-street parking for two cars.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, and bed linen are included. Guests to supply towels. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
Changeover day is a Saturday (from 2026 it will be Friday)
