The luxurious timber lodge is one of just four holiday cottages in Woody Park, where 35 beautiful acres of woodland, countryside and lakes provide all the peace and seclusion you could wish for. Stretch out on a sunlounger and admire views across the water, mountain bike through the Blackdown Hills, or hike in Exmoor National Park. The one-bedroom holiday home is on the edge of Cullompton in Devon. It is only a leisurely drive of a few minutes from the M5, making it ideal for couples who want a romantic break without spending more time in the car than necessary.

Its luxurious yet laid-back atmosphere lets you relax from the moment you arrive. Cullompton is within easy reach of historic Exeter and the market town of Tiverton. Both of these places are lovely choices for browsing and eating. They are also ideal for shopping, with Tiverton hosting a popular farmers' market on the first Saturday of each month. Exeter Cathedral is a natural choice for anyone who appreciates historic architecture, and you're also close to Bickleigh Castle and Killerton House. Exmouth and South Devon's beaches are only 40 minutes by car, so head for the coast if you fancy a salt-water dip.
