Situated in the pretty wooded Yeo Valley, in the grounds of the owners’ Georgian country house, The Old Pottery has been completely renovated to offer a stylish, comfortable holiday home. The building has been sympathetically and beautifully restored and is now a gorgeous, spacious bolt hole for 1 or 2 guests and of course dogs are welcome! We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the delights of this lovely area with you. North Devon boasts beautiful scenery, both coast and country with rugged cliffs, miles of Sandy beaches and of course the South West Coastal Path. The countryside is equally spectacular with hills, valleys and moors. Small towns and villages for you to explore are scattered throughout. Largely undiscovered by the masses and unspoilt, North Devon is an area offering much to delight any visitor. When you return to the Old Pottery after a days exploring you are able relax in the cosy sitting room which is equipped with with smart tv, Alexa and a selection of books and games . The underfloor heating and fullcentral heating ensure you are warm and cosy throughout your stay. The fully equipped kitchen / diner has everything you will need to whisk up a meal or alternatively visit one of the local pubs or restaurants, recommendations are in the cottage. The cottage has been tastefully decorated, using a mix antique and modern furniture with lots of artwork decorating the walls. The hand made curtains and blinds add a touch of luxury. Head upstairs to the superking zip and link bed (can be 2 single beds if preferred) with Egyptian cotton bedding. The en-suite bathroom is fully equipped with sink and vanity unit, toilet and bath with shower over which offers a lovely powerful shower if preferred. Outside there is an enclosed sunny garden courtyard with views over the grounds surrounding the property. Unwind with a glass of wine or simply doze in the hammock swing with a good book. There is a barbecue and fire pit for your use. There are some sloping ceilings upstairs.
