The downstairs bedroom with an en-suite is great for grandparents or parents, while the kids can enjoy their own space upstairs. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TVs, a cosy wood burner, and a charming enclosed garden. Plus, there are local pubs and restaurants nearby for a sociable drink and delicious meal.
Great Ash Barn is in a fantastic area with loads to see and do. The nearest village, Copplestone, is 3.5 miles away and has a small farm shop and Central Stores. Morchard Bishop, 4.5 miles away, features a friendly village shop and the inviting London Inn pub. Sandford has a community-run shop and two popular village pubs four miles away. Footpaths from the barn lead to these villages, offering scenic walks right from your doorstep. For more shopping and dining options, head to Crediton, only 5 miles away, where you’ll find independent shops, a Tesco, and a Morrisons. If you fancy a bit of history, Okehampton is 17 miles away, with its famous castle ruins and access to Dartmoor's walking trails.
If you’re up for exploring further, Devon has loads to offer. Exeter, just 13 miles away, is an ancient city with plenty to see and do. Both the North and South Devon coasts are within reach, with beautiful beaches and charming coastal towns. North Devon is fantastic for surfing, while South Devon offers lovely beaches and towns to explore. Garden lovers will enjoy RHS Garden Rosemoor, about 35 minutes away, and several National Trust properties are nearby, like Castle Drogo, Knightshayes, and Killerton. Local farm shops around Crediton provide fresh produce for your self-catering needs. At Great Ash Barn, you can also enjoy farm life by feeding calves, piglets, and Pygmy goats or collecting fresh eggs from the chickens and ducks.

Great Ash Barn is on a family-owned beef and arable farm. Dogs are welcome, but please follow the country code, keeping them on a lead if you're in a field with cows and ensuring gates are closed.

Outside: Great Ash Barn has an enclosed garden with a patio, outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. There is parking for two cars, and EV charging is available.
Additional Information: Bed linen, utilities, WiFi, wood for the woodburner, and bath towels are provided. A stairgate, travel cot and a highchair are available. There is a boot-room with a warm dog shower for your four-legged friend, complete with dog shampoo and towels. Dogs can be left unattended at Great Ash Barn in the private kennel which is provided solely for guests' use. The kennel is in the lockable boot-room which is accessed from the drive. Beds, bowls etc all provided in the kennel. Dogs can be in the kennel when you are at or away from the property. They can be walked for an additional charge by prior arrangement. Number of dogs can be discussed with owner before booking.
