Darcy Mews offers an impressive collection of five stylish self-catering apartments providing luxury retreats in the historic Yorkshire market town of Richmond. Perfect for a romantic break or a holiday with friends and family, two apartments sleep four, two have three bedrooms accommodating six, and the other is a penthouse exuding luxury just for two.

Each apartment is unique and presented to the highest of standards with a lovely blend of original character and modern conveniences. The location is every bit as impressive with the property sitting on Riverside Road, and affording fabulous views along the river and over Richmond Falls - an beautiful network of waterfalls.

Formerly the site of the old gasworks, Darcy Mews sits beneath the walls of Richmond's magnificent castle - a popular attraction and one of the country's finest remaining Norman castles. The ancient market place at the heart of the town still holds a weekly market each Saturday, and its tiny cobbled streets are lined with fantastic restaurants and shops.

There are lots of lovely walks straight from the front door. Stroll along the River Swale or take the Castle Walk to see the sights of the town. The surrounding Yorkshire Dales also offer superb opportunities for those with a passion for walking and cycling, as well as an abundance of attractions.

For those happy to travel further afield, the City or York, North York Moors and the North Pennines are all within easy reach.

Each Apartment is presented to the highest of standards with super facilities that include beautifully designed interiors, fabulous kitchens with granite work-tops, and sumptuous bedrooms that assure a good night's sleep.

Number One (dog-friendly): Sleeping six in three bedrooms, the apartment is split across two levels. Both bedrooms on the ground floor share a bathroom and offer flexible sleeping with beds that can be made up as super-kings or twins. The master is a king-size room with en-suite and has access out onto a terrace. The living area is open-plan with space to cook, dine and relax.

Number Two: Very similar in layout to Number One, this apartment also sleeps six in three bedrooms. It's master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite, and is located on the top floor with access out onto a patio. Two further bedrooms (one which is flexible) are located on the ground floor and the living space is open-plan.

Penthouse: The third apartment is just for two and is a stunning one bed apartment with wonderful views over the river. The king-size bedroom has plenty of space, a fabulous shower room and access out onto the terrace. The living room also leads out onto the terrace and the kitchen is just perfect for creating that special romantic supper.

Number Four: Sleeps four in two bedrooms (one offering flexible sleeping) sharing a bathroom. The living/dining area has river views and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to self-cater.

Number Five: Offering the height of stylish dog-friendly accommodation, this apartment has two gorgeous bedrooms on the ground floor (one offering flexible sleeping) with a bathroom for shared use. The living area is spacious for relaxing and dining, and there is a well-equipped kitchen.

Additional information: Wi-Fi internet access is available for guests use. Prices include heating, linen, electricity and towels. Cot and high chair available. Special treats can be arranged ready for your arrival - please speak to the owner to discuss the different options. A welcome hamper is provided upon arrival.
