The Farmhouse is a spacious and homely retreat tucked away in peaceful Harty, on the Isle of Sheppey. Sleeping up to 21 guests across eight bedrooms, it’s the ideal setting for large family gatherings, milestone celebrations, or a relaxed getaway with friends. There’s room for everyone to unwind, with generous living areas inside and wide open spaces outdoors — all framed by glorious countryside views. From the doorstep, you can stroll to the coast, explore nearby nature reserves, or head over to the award-winning Ferry House restaurant. The Farmhouse is one of five welcoming holiday cottages on Mocketts Farm and is available for bookings all year round, offering a proper escape to the heart of the Kentish countryside. Please note, The Ferry House will close for regular dining from April 2026, reopening on select dates for special events. Private dining for larger groups may be offered, subject to availability – please contact us for further details. In-cottage catering will still be available.

Harrier’s Nest is a cosy, wood-clad cottage tucked away in peaceful Harty on the Isle of Sheppey. Sleeping 4+ across two comfortable bedrooms, it’s a lovely spot for couples or families looking for a break that feels far from everyday life - but is still within easy reach of London. Wake up to views across open fields, take a slow stroll to the nearby Ferry House for lunch or a sundowner on the terrace, and return to your own private garden for a quiet evening under the wide Kent skies. Guests also have access to the shared grounds at Mocketts Farm, including picnic spots, an enclosed duck pond and a games room. Harrier’s Nest is dog friendly, with a fully fenced, dog-safe garden, and access to our on-site dog exercise paddock - free to book for all cottage guests. Whether you're looking for a midweek recharge or a weekend escape, Harrier’s Nest is a little slice of countryside calm just over an hour from London.

Marsh View is a spacious and welcoming countryside cottage on Mocketts Farm in Harty, tucked away on the Isle of Sheppey and just a short stroll from the award-winning Ferry House restaurant and the coastline. With room for 8+ guests across four bedrooms, it's an ideal choice for families, multi-generational groups or friends getting together to relax and recharge. The layout is flexible and easy, offering generous living space and everything you need to feel at home. From the doorstep, there are beautiful walks and bike rides across the marshes and along the coast, and you’ll be perfectly placed to explore Elmley and The Swale nature reserves, peaceful beaches, and the wider Kent countryside. Though it feels wonderfully off the beaten track, Marsh View is still only around 30 minutes from Maidstone, under an hour from Canterbury, and just over an hour from London, making it a fantastic year-round getaway spot.
