Weare Cottage is a spacious and inviting holiday home within strolling distance from the village pub, the Cyder Presse, and the park in the friendly village of Weare Giffard. The detached property has a lovely garden and space to sleep six people, plus one infant, in three very comfortable bedrooms. The owners have added lots of child-friendly touches that make it very welcoming for families, and because pets are not accepted, it's also ideal for guests with allergies. The River Torridge flows through the village, and the beautiful beaches of the North Devon coast are only fifteen minutes away, making this an excellent choice for a fun and relaxed holiday with your friends and loved ones.
Weare Giffard is in the beautiful Torridge Valley with direct access to the famous Tarka Trail. Other local trails lead through woodlands and beside the river, so there's always a path suited to your energy level, from a gentle stroll to a cross-country hike. The Tarka Trail is traffic-free and perfect for a family bike ride, with cycle hire available locally for guests who need it. North Devon's beaches are some of the finest in England. The nearest beaches are at Instow and Westward Ho!, fifteen minutes away by car, and you’re within close range of Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborough, and Woolacombe. There's a sandy spot with your name on it whether you're into surfing and coasteering, love a beach picnic, or can't think of a nicer way to spend a day than rock pooling and bird watching.
Local attractions include the BIG Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, and the gorgeous RHS Rosemoor gardens. Golfers, anglers and cyclists will find plenty of opportunities to indulge in their passions, as will surfers, SUPers, wakeboarders, and kayakers. Torrington and Bideford are only a few miles away with excellent amenities, including shops, markets, and places to eat and drink. Appledore and Instow are nice alternatives, especially if you want a good lunch. Don't miss a visit to Ilfracombe and a walk to its famous Tunnel Beaches.

Outside: The cottage has an enclosed garden with a south-facing deck, seating and a barbecue. There is off-street parking for three cars. As the garden is securely enclosed, it can be used for storing bikes, surfboards and other equipment.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. A travel cot, high chair, stair gate, children's plates, cutlery, books and toys are available. Guests to bring beach towels and cot bedding if required. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
