An ideal retreat, to just sit and enjoy the magnificent view, watch the incredible sunsets, or to discover the delightful village with charming thatched cottages and surrounding National Trust area. The South West Coastal path almost on the doorstep, leading to some of the best beaches in the area. Thurlestone also boasts an 18 hole golf course and Tennis Courts, a Post Office/Shop, Church, a Village Inn and an Hotel with a mini golf course open to non residents.
Peacehaven, a brick built terraced bungalow with gardens to front and rear, two bedrooms, a shower room, hallway and open plan kitchen and sitting room, tastefully decorated throughout. The property provides modern home comforts, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, washing/drying machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, Smart TV, with free superfast BT broadband. The rear garden offers a BBQ and alfresco dining area with views sweeping across the valley, capturing the local vineyard, Buckland, Bantham Beach, Burgh Island and the sea.
The surrounding villages of Hope Cove, Churchstow, Salcombe and Marlborough offer some great food establishments, with the little bustling town of Kingsbridge only a short journey away. The town provides the choice of Tesco or Morrisons supermarkets, however it has many independent traders, a favourite of mine.. Catch of the Day, offering beautiful fresh fish and seafood, alongside several bakers, butchers, a deli, and it also has a Reel Cinema! Dartmoor National Park, along with Totnes make great days out.
