Rhoshendre is a welcoming holiday home in a fantastic location within easy reach of Aberystwyth and favourite sights and attractions within Ceredigion. The four-bedroom property comfortably sleeps up to five people. It is perfect for families and friends who want to explore the area, as well as parents visiting students, or researchers or staff working at nearby Aberystwyth University or the National Library. The house is on a quiet residential street, a short walk from a neighbourhood shop and post office, and around a mile from the town centre.
Aberystwyth is a beautiful place to visit either for work or leisure. The seaside resort town was a favourite with the Victorians, and a stroll along the mile-long promenade to the top of Constitution Hill is an excellent way to enjoy the views. Alternatively, wander over the water along the pier which dates from 1864 and is the oldest in Wales, or rest your legs and take a journey on the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway and look through the Camera Obscura. Depending on the time of the year, you may be fortunate enough to witness one of the breathtaking starling murmurations.
Being a university town means that Aberystwyth has a wealth of places to eat and drink, with something to suit all tastes and budges. There is always a lively vibe, with summer holidaymakers being replaced by students in September. The choice of independent shops is also excellent and includes regular markets in the Market Hall.
Things to see and do around Aberystwyth include visiting the National Library of Wales which has a fascinating collection, and taking in a performance at the Arts Centre or catching a live band at a pub. Admire the beautiful countryside on foot or a mountain bike at the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre, or put your feet up in a vintage carriage behind a steam engine on the Vale of Rheidol Railway.
When the weather is sunny, there's nowhere better than to be on Aberystwyth beach or the coastal footpath, but this seaside resort also offers plenty of wet weather attractions as well. Rhoshendre provides a genuine welcome to its visitors, and a comfortable stay at any time of the year.

The house is extremely well appointed , I try to provide everything you might need to make your stay a success . The house is carpeted throughout and the rooms are individually decorated . I do not follow the current trend of minimalism with its bare floors , bland overall decoration and lack of homely touches. I want people to know what to expect when they arrive .
Children of 8 or over are welcome;
