Ty Isaf is a short walk from Tresaith Beach, where the sandy shore, rockpools and waterfall make it one of the most scenic places on Cardigan Bay. The beautifully presented 4-star holiday home sleeps six people in three bedrooms and is furnished with families and groups of friends in mind. It's perfect for a self-catering holiday in Cardigan, though you're only half a mile from the welcoming Ship Inn pub if you want a tasty meal without cooking. It's next to the smaller Y Llofft cottage, which sleeps three people to accommodate two families or a bigger group of friends. Both houses are dog-friendly and suitable for children.
The Cardigan Coast is gorgeous in all seasons. You have spectacular sandy beaches for swimming, sailing, surfing and coasteering, and you're spoiled with miles of country lanes and rural trails to explore on foot, or by mountain bike. Tresaith is a gorgeous Blue Flag beach between Aberporth and Penbryn, both can be reached via the Ceredigion Coastal Path, only a five-minute walk from Ty Isaf. Other beaches to visit include Llangrannog, Mwnt, and Cwmytdu. Keep an eye out for dolphins and seals in the bay and the wealth of sea birds who thrive in the protected coastal environment.
Locals are justifiably proud of the richness of Welsh culture and language, which is evident everywhere in Cardigan. The busy town has many independent cafes and shops focused around its ancient castle and is only 15 minutes from Ty Isaf. Even closer is the small town of Newcastle Emlyn, where the remains of a stone castle overlook the picturesque River Teifi. Cardigan Bay is a place where people come to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Whether you want to walk the coastal footpath, scramble around the cliffs on a guided coasteering adventure, or take to the water on a dolphin-watching cruise, it's here to be explored at your pace.
