It is opposite fields and has a gorgeous outlook, especially as it is on a quiet lane with no through traffic. There's a pub just a short walk from the door, with an excellent choice of places to eat, drink and shop in Ashby de la Zouch, only three miles away. The self-catering cottage sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms and boasts stylish decor and a high standard of finishing throughout. It's perfect for couples, families or friends in the area on holiday, to attend a wedding, or who want a home-away-from-home rather than an impersonal hotel while visiting for business.

Treat your family to a farm holiday in the Peak District. The Old Shippen is just outside Tideswell on the family-run Wheaton Farm, where the owners raise beef and dairy cows, sheep and pigs.
