Treat your family to a farm holiday in the Peak District. The Old Shippen is just outside Tideswell on the family-run Wheaton Farm, where the owners raise beef and dairy cows, sheep and pigs. The former stone barn has been beautifully converted into a fantastic holiday cottage with space for three people to sleep in three bedrooms and a layout that works well for families and multi-generational families. The village is well-equipped for your self-catering needs, but Buxton and Bakewell are both nearby if you want a further choice of places to eat, drink and shop. With beautiful footpaths and cycling routes from the door, exploration is a pleasure.
