Stable View is a fantastic Peak District holiday cottage that works as well for couples as it does for small families or friends. It's on a family-run farm near Tideswell and within easy reach of Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Blue John Cavern. Tidewell has an excellent variety of shops and other amenities and is either on or close to favourite footpaths and cycling routes, including the Limestone Way. Stable View sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is available for bookings all year round, with short breaks possible outside of peak season.
Treat your family to a farm holiday in the Peak District. The Old Shippen is just outside Tideswell on the family-run Wheaton Farm, where the owners raise beef and dairy cows, sheep and pigs. The former stone barn has been beautifully converted into a fantastic holiday cottage with space for three people to sleep in three bedrooms and a layout that works well for families and multi-generational families. The village is well-equipped for your self-catering needs, but Buxton and Bakewell are both nearby if you want a further choice of places to eat, drink and shop. With beautiful footpaths and cycling routes from the door, exploration is a pleasure.
