Buttercups and Hayloft is a combination of two cottages. Buttercups sleeping 10 guests and 2 infants across 6 bedrooms and Hayloft sleeping 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. Dining for 16 however, is located in Buttercups with comfortable dining for all with oak chairs and wooden dining table, perfect for a large gathering of friends and family. Buttercups has 6 bedrooms, all on the first floor but with a downstairs cloak room. The bedrooms are accessed via two staircases. The staircase to the left of the cottage takes you to a Double Bedroom with en-suite Shower room, a Double Bedroom and a Single Bedroom that are serviced by a good sized family bathroom. The staircase to the right takes you to another large Double Bedroom with an en-suite Shower Room, a Single Bedroom and a Twin Bedroom that are serviced by a good sized family bathroom. Hayloft has a Master Bedroom with King Sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, a Double Bedroom with family bathroom opposite & a delightful Bunk Bed bedroom with full sized beds.

A dog friendly 4 Star holiday home with a six foot fenced large garden and only ten minutes away from a canalside village where you can enjoy lovely canal walks and sample the tasty cakes at one of the many tearooms or enjoy a drink sitting by the canal. There are countryside walks straight from the front door which includes the 20 minute walk on a hardstanding link path to the Olde Jack Inn - an ideal self-catering rental to relax and unwind. Brown Moss Nature Reserve with woodland walks is a beautiful place to stroll round and near to this we have a 200 acre estate with no livestock and so perfect for walking your dogs. The bustling old market town of Whitchurch which is the oldest town in the country has fine dining including Docket 33 and the italian restaurant Enzo`s. The town has beautiful Tudor buildings and is renowned for its production of the Joyce clocks and its canalside walks.Chester and Shrewsbury are close by as well as Ellesmere with its scenic lakes. Chester Zoo and the Grosvenor Museum are worth a visit as well as a lovely stroll around the Chester Roman Gardens. We have quite a few places to visit on rainy days such as Dagfields Craft and Antique Centre and the Secret Bunker plus Bridgemere Garden World with its splendid gardens. The Dorothy Clive and Trentham gardens are this side of Staffordshire and well worth a visit or have a look at the Wedgewood museum and then go across to the JCB factory for a very interesting tour. Whitchurch makes a perfect destination for a quick countryside getaway, with plenty of things to see and lots of excursions to enjoy, there is something for everyone.
A short 20-minute walk from the town centre will take you to Alderford Lake where there is a wealth of water activities for you to get up to including kayaking, paddle boarding lessons and wild swimming. After working up an appetite on the lake, you can enjoy some delicious, locally-sourced food from The Lakeside Kitchen.
At the top of Whitchurch’s high street lies St Alkmund’s Church with stained glass windows, fascinating architecture and beautiful grounds; it truly is a stunning sight to see. Boasting a stunning grade 1-listed building that earns it the honour of being one of the largest Georgian churches in the county, St Alkmund’s is definitely not to be missed.
Why not take a trip to see the 19th-century gothic house and parkland of Cholmondeley Castle Gardens?
