Oakwood is a spacious detached single level holiday home located in a quiet rural village on the Cheshire/Shropshire border providing a relaxing retreat with countryside walks starting directly from the front door (including a 20 minute walk on a hardstanding footpath walk to The Olde Jack Inn)
Sleeping up to four guests, Oakwood is ideal for families who want to visit and explore Shropshire, Cheshire and also the Potteries and Wales with plenty of attractions for day trips out and lovely circular walks to enjoy with your dog.
The Cheshire village of Audlem is only ten minutes away where you will find canalside walks, tea rooms, shops and a boating marina. There is a nature reserve within a five minute drive offering woodland walks, along with good pubs with log fires serving food. The area also offers numerous National Trust properties gardens and castles to visit.
Awarded 4 Star for quality accommodation, Oakwood is suited to those who want to escape to an unspoilt part of the country where you can enjoy some peace and quiet away from the crowds.

Outside: The large garden has 6 foot fencing and so safe and secure for dogs and can be accessed via the main bedroom or kitchen. There is a patio with seating for 4 guests.
Additional information: Price includes central heating, electricity, linen, towels, Wi-Fi, a welcome tray with home-made cake upon arrival and complimentary toiletries and beverages. A welcome basket of logs and starter sticks are provided. Two dogs are welcome but please do not leave them alone in the cottage or on the beds.
Oakwood is on a quiet cul-de-sac with no passing traffic. There is a circular walk via a field from the cottage to the church and a footpath which leads onto a 200 acre estate with grassland walks with no livestock. Brown Moss Nature reserve is within 10 minutes away which has 77 acres of beautiful woodland trails which lead to a community owned dog friendly pub.

There is a 6 foot fenced large garden which is safe and secure for dogs One mile walk via a hardstanding and fenced footpath to the great dog friendly pub The Olde Jack Inn.Walks from the door onto the Shropshire Way to the White Lion Inn which is a community owned pub. No dogs under the age of 12 months old accepted.
