It is the only holiday let in our home (we live on the other side of the house). Having your own private entrance gives guests the independence to come and go as you please with the added comfort of having us nearby should you have any questions on the area’s many attractions and seasonal events. There is lots of information in the apartment regarding places to visit. Some of our past guests’ favourites include: Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, Abbotsbury Swannery, Hive beach, Weymouth beach, Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, Symondsbury Cafe with Colmers Hill and nearby mysterious sunken lanes, St Catherine’s Chapel, and Weymouth Oceanarium. The accommodation comprises of: A large open plan living area for relaxing, dining and cooking, ideal for being together while performing different tasks. Through the wooden gate leads you into the little orchard where there is more seating and a Buddha among the mature damson, pear and apple trees. We have a further two fields at the bottom of the garden where sometimes the local farmer puts his sheep to graze. Included is a family pass (2 adults, 2 children) to the local animal park which also has an indoor play area. This is a 5 minute drive away. We provide a generous welcome pack of provisions to get you settled (which can be adapted to meet any allergy requirements). We also provide towels, a hairdryer, toilet paper, kitchen roll, tissues, washing up liquid, and hand wash. The thatched village pub, The Crown, is a 5 minute stroll down the lane.
