Thelma’s House is a spacious, well equipped, one level house, situated on a working farm in North Northumberland’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Four bedrooms sleep seven with lots of space to dine and lounge. Enjoy views over open countryside and see the cattle and sheep graze outside your window.
Elwick Offers the perfect base for exploring the beautiful coastline, it is two miles from Ross Sands. Walk down to the Elwick Bird Hide and do some bird watching or listen to the gentle noise of wading birds as you take in the view over Lindisfarne Nature Reserve to Holy Island.
Enjoy the peace, quiet, beautiful sunsets and dark skies at the farm but have easy access to Bamburgh with its stunning castle and beach, buy an ice cream or choose from coffee shops, pubs or restaurants. Take a Farne Island Boat trip from Seahouses, see the puffins, seals and guillemots and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins. Holy Island castle, priory and harbour are a must visit, remember to check the tide times! Alnwick Castle and Gardens are highly recommended, especially for harry Potter fans and a trip to Barter books. Berwick upon Tweed has a history to tell, walk round the old town walls or take a boat trip on the Border Belle. Belford is two miles away and has a supermarket, farm shop and pubs.

Accommodation Comprises: Seven beds spread across four rooms with no internal stairs.
Outside: The enclosed garden comes with its own summerhouse – essentially an outdoor living room with weather protection when you want fresh air, but the North Sea has other ideas. Decent outdoor furniture that won't collapse when you sit down, plus a charcoal BBQ for those optimistic moments when you decide tonight's definitely warm enough for outdoor cooking. Private parking.
Additional Information: Electric heating keeps you warm and snug. WiFi reaches all corners for teenage emergencies and work calls you can't avoid. Everything's included – towels, sheets, and bedding - so you can pack light. A highchair is available for small people, and a washing machine for muddy walking kit. One dog welcome. No smoking. The Martin’s (sleeps 6) is next door if you want to take a break with extended family or friends.
