Sparrow's Nest cottage is semi-detached (we live next door) with open country views front and back.
Set back from the road with parking off-road, you'd have your own enclosed garden and use of our field too.
Price includes all electricity. However, charging an EV is not permitted.
Bedding and towels provided.
Buses to Dawlish or Exeter are 2 minutes away. Ferry to Exmouth is 1.5 miles away (Easter - Oct).
5 minute walk to countryside park and 1.5 miles from beaches at Dawlish and Dawlish Warren ( National nature reserve).
Dawlish and Teignmouth are interesting small resorts.
Sparrow's Nest is on a county wildlife site (for Cirl bunting birds).
It's a wonderful area for walking and cycling with the Exe estuary cycle trail very near and the south west coast path too. We'd love to welcome you to what we consider is a very special area of the country and are happy to help you find lovely places to visit, whether it's a trip onto Dartmoor or across the bay by ferry from Torquay to Brixham, maybe seeing dolphins on the way. Maybe down the smugglers' tunnel inside the cliffs at Shaldon to the hidden beach.
We've had lots of returning visitors over the past few years who have enjoyed staying and we'd do our best to make your stay a memorable one.

You can park right outside your cottage, safely off the road.
Electric heaters throughout.
Your lounge has a two-seater settee and three chairs, TV, games and books. Under-stairs cupboard has ironing board, iron, vacuum, mop, broom and 4 spare chairs and small folding table.
Your dining room has a table for 4 which can be extended further. 4 chairs, chest of drawers and music centre .
Your kitchen has a breakfast bar with 2 stools, oven with grill, hob, microwave, toaster and washing machine.
Downstairs toilet with small washbasin.
Small glazed outhouse off the kitchen, looking out onto your back garden.
Steep stairs from front door with banister rail.
Stairgate at top of stairs.
Double bedroom with wardrobe and cupboard
Twin bedroom with wardrobe and cupboard.
Bathroom with over-bath electric shower, toilet, basin, cupboard and immersion heater.

Steep stairs with handrail. Can be some noise from the road although Sparrow's Nest is set back from the road and is double glazed. Sorry but no EV charging here or indoor E Bike storage or charging : insurance requirement.
