Moorside Cottage is a pet friendly and child friendly holiday home that is non-smoking and is suitable for all age groups. Set in a beautiful and peaceful location at the end of a quiet lane, Moorside Cottage is a spacious property that is perfect for walkers with a nearby bridle-path that leads directly to open moorland and established paths across the Moor, (2 Moors way, Abbott's way).
There are well established gardens surrounding the property with level lawns, complete with tables and chairs and other benches and hidden seating area. Bird song is the only distraction from the colour of the Garden for the majority of the time and being situated at a height of around 1000ft above sea level there are fantastic views to Dartmoor and out towards Teignmouth and the sea.

With no near neighbours, surrounded by farmland and within 300 meters (up a bridle path), to the open moor, but yet within easy reach of many local attractions, (Details and maps in the cottage), Moorside Cottage is ideal for families and those requiring a quiet break.
Near Scorriton and Holne villages, 2 miles, (good food pub, tea room, community shop) on the beautiful sheltered and wooded southern slopes of the Dartmoor National Park. Lovely walking/riding/ mountain biking /wild swimming locally, Devon Express Way / A38 road, 3 miles; Ashburton, 5 miles; Totnes (historic town, weekly markets), 8 miles.
The sea and stunning beaches at Bigbury-on-Sea or Bantham for surfing, 20 miles, or Salcombe (South Sands), 25 miles. the cottage is therefore in a great location for exploring both Dartmoor and the South Coast of Devon as well as Exeter and Plymouth, (due to the ease of access to the A38 Devon Expressway (3 miles).

A well appointed lounge complete with a wood burner to keep you warm in the chillier months. The dining area has seating for 6 people and French doors that open out onto the stunning conservatory with an additional table that seats six people complete with sofas and sofa chairs, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the birds, the sun and the stars at night. There are 4 bedrooms, including 1 king with its own ensuite shower room, 1 double, and 2 single bedrooms.
