Dunningwell Hall is a magnificently refurbished stately Victorian mansion, ideal for hosting families, friends, or corporate retreats. This pet-friendly estate offers the ultimate getaways for parties of up to 22 guests, where magical and memorable family gatherings, special occasions, and once-in-a-lifetime celebrations are the order of the day.
Dunningwell Hall, the perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury, is set on a lush 26-acre country estate in the popular Lake District. Its vibrant décor, elegant lounges, bar, snooker and dining rooms, 11 luxurious designer suites, all (bar one) with bath and shower, tea and coffee stations, as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen, guest laundry and Wi-Fi, delivers the ultimate countryside experience.
This chic over-the-top 3 story mansion, nestled in a picturesque garden forest, offers endless entertainment. From a 16-seater hot tub, a curated collection of captivating books, full-size snooker table, darts, foosball, Xbox, Swingball, basketball to several other lawn games! Thoughtfully calibrated, Dunningwell Hall includes an accessible suite, an elevator servicing all three floors and a workstation with printer.
Designer services are available on request including team builds, banquet and casual catering, exotic picnics, drinks and food shopping or daily cleaning.
Enjoy endless magical walks, close by pubs, popular Billy@Brockwood Restaurant, quaint store and the unspoilt Silecroft Beach just 10 minutes away.
Completed in December 1876, almost 150 years ago, Dunningwell Hall was acquired in 2016 by First Group, a disruptive, global, best-in-class property, leisure & lifestyle creator. Dunningwell Hall marks the Group’s second hospitality venture in the Lake District, after the renowned Brockwood Hall - a haven of Scandinavian lodges, located just minutes away.
Hens and Stag Parties
With being a country destination, sound travels far. To be respectful and courteous to the local community, guests are not permitted to contribute to noise nuisance by playing loud or amplified music, both live and/or recorded between 23:00 and 08:00 on any given day.
Dunningwell Hall will not sell, or serve any alcohol at your event, but you will be able to use our delivery service. You will be able to preorder alcohol, where we will purchase any supplies on your behalf and ensure they are available upon check-in. We will require a minimum of 15 working days’ notice to provide this service.
Groups can not exceed more than 22 people and no day visitors are allowed.
Commercial events are not permitted.
Dunningwell Hall will not tolerate any antisocial behaviour, such as aggressive, noisy or abusive behaviour or neighbourhood disturbances involving drugs, abandoned cars or animals. This includes damage to property either at Dunningwell Hall, or in the surrounding neighbourhood. Guests will be prosecuted accordingly and Dunningwell Hall reserves the right to ask guests to leave the premises.
A £2000 security deposit will be taken for all “Hens” and “Stag” parties. Should the guests breach any of these conditions, Dunningwell Hall is permitted to impose fines, deductible from the deposit.

GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor comprises all the common and entertainment areas, including an elevator. Two stylish dining rooms, each with a fireplace and 50-inch TV, seat 22 guests. The magnificent 15-seater bar includes a fireplace, ice machine, bar fridge, and all necessary utensils.
The luxurious Family Lounge boasts a 75-inch TV, three seating areas, as well as a workstation, fireplace, and a fully stocked bookshelf. A selection of board games, puzzles, and an Xbox with two controllers can be found in the antique cabinet.
The Reception Area at the foot of the staircase offers an additional work and meeting station with a Wi-Fi printer.
An intimate Cosy Lounge with a fireplace and additional bookshelf offers the perfect quiet respite.
The Snooker Room boasts a full-size table with seating, a 50-inch TV, fireplace, dartboard, boombox, as well as a foosball games table with several additional games.
The outdoor Hot Tub is adjacent to and accessed from the snooker room.
The Kitchen - The fully equipped kitchen boasts 2 dishwashers, an air fryer, toaster, sandwich maker, juice maker, microwave, coffee machine, wine cooler, double-door fridge and freezer.
The 5-plate glass top induction stove boasts 2 ovens and a griller with a high-performance extractor. All pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery are available.
All areas on the ground floor have radiators, as well as guest toilets, accessible toilet, fully equipped guest laundry, and elevator to access the 1st and 2nd floors.
1ST FLOOR AND 2ND FLOOR
Suites 1-5 can be found on the first floor at the top of the iconic wooden staircase. Suite 4 is fully accessible for wheelchairs.
Suites 6–11 can be found on the 2nd floor.
SUITES
Each suite is equipped with a king-size bed, coffee station stocked with a pod coffee maker, fridge, and kettle. A dressing table, armchair, fireplace, TV, hairdryer, and dressing gowns are also provided.
BATHROOMS
All bathrooms, apart from Suite 11, include a bath and shower, whilst Suites 3 and 9 boast magnificent free-standing copper baths overlooking the gardens.

Dunningwell Hall is a magnificently refurbished stately Victorian mansion, ideal for hosting families, friends, or corporate retreats.
We ask to hold a cautionary security deposit of £1000. This is requested two weeks prior to your stay and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or it's contents.
